Since joining Brightside in February 2022, Marion has become a vibrant and muchloved member of the Centre. Initially quiet and reserved, Marion spent her days colouring, a comforting activity she was familiar with. But over time, her confidence blossomed. She now actively participates in morning activities, often winning games and bringing laughter to the room.
Marion has discovered a love for bingo and outings, especially trips to the local pub where she shines as a “pool shark.” Her colouring remains a cherished hobby, and she proudly shares her artwork with fellow clients and carers, often colouring alongside a friend on Tuesday afternoons.
Marion’s journey is a beautiful example of how connection, routine, and community can enrich lives. Her positive energy and joyful spirit have made her an integral part of Brightside and a source of inspiration to everyone around her.
